Care & Maintenance
To care for your Gas Bijoux Jewellery:
In order to preserve the radiance of your jewels, it is necessary to avoid contact with water, humidity, and perfume. Perfume, cosmetics, alcohol, chemicals, lemon, and further acids, as well as salty water, and especially chlorine, are harmful to your jewellery. It is advised to put your make-up and perfume on before your jewellery. It is not advised to wear your jewellery when sleeping, swimming, or when practicing sports.
Many of the Gas Bijoux pieces bear delicate materials: authentic feathers, enamels, mother-of-pearls, natural stones, and leathers. It is thus indispensable to avoid alcoholic products, otherwise, you will irreversibly see these materials tarnish yellow.
To care for your Aurélie Bidermann Jewellery:
Avoid contact with water and cosmetics. Do not wear jewellery during physical activity, to avoid scratches. Avoid wearing jewellery during activities requiring the use of corrosive products (gardening, cleaning, washing-up...), to avoid damaging the stones that adorn your jewellery. Do not expose jewellery to high heat: temperature variations can irreversibly damage precious stones.
To care for your Agapée Jewellery:
1. Put on your Agapée jewellery after you've applied perfume or other alcohol-containing chemical products and cosmetics. This will minimize the risks of tarnishing the gilding and potential scratches.
2. Just like you, Agapée jewellery needs time to rest. So, when going to bed, don't forget to take it off to avoid entangling or scratches.
3. To clean your jewellery, soak it in warm water with a little diluted dish soap and use a soft-bristle baby toothbrush to remove any dirt. After cleaning, ensure the items are thoroughly dry by patting them with paper towels. Please do not use any abrasive cleaners.
4. Our mix of cotton and linen pouches are there to protect your favorite jewellery. So, when traveling or not wearing our jewelry, keep it in its protective bag.
Pro Tip: To keep your necklaces or bracelets from entangling, store them in the pouch with their ends peeking outside. Jewellery twists from the ends, so keeping them separated prevents it.
5. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean your jewellery from time to time. When done repeatedly, this is enough to revive its golden glimmer.
To care for your Omorfi candles:
Keep the wick trimmed to 6mm to ensure even burning and ensure your first burn is long enough to create an even pool of wax along to surface of the candle – we recommend 4 hours. This will avoid the candle from tunneling. Ensure candle is free of any foreign or flammable materials including matches and wick trimmings before burning. Keep wax pool free of debris. Do not touch or move candle when it is burning/hot. Store candle in a cool dry place below 25 degrees celsius and keep away from direct sunlight. Stop burning when 2cm of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. This will prevent possible heat damage to the counter/surface or container itself.
